3D Printing
The term "3D printing" covers a number of different technologies by which machines create three-dimensional objects from digital files. In the most common process, the machine places many thin layers of material in rapid succession, building the final product based on the digital design.
The most important feature of 3D printing is that it can create complex shapes that cannot be made by traditional processes, or that traditional processes need to divide a product into 10 separate pieces, while 3D printing allows the direct manufacturing of complex products, which means that products manufactured by 3D printer can be re-optimized the design, providing product performance or reducing product costs, is the ideal choice for any complex structured metal parts, e.g. parts inserts with cooling channels, light down structures parts for use in the aerospace sector. There are more and more needs in terms of the design and manufacture of high-value components and parts.
We are targeting to design, manufacture and sale 3D printers for metal. We designed the first prototype of a 3D printer with a work surface of 750x400 mm, called LDM7540. Then, with the help of the Institute of Applied Research on Intelligent Science & Technology, Jiangsu and Chinese Academy of Sciences, we made a series of improvements and optimizations to achieve the final printer, LDM7540, which is currently in the process of validation and certification. The purpose is now to be able to sale our 3D printer in 2021 to high potential industrial market such as the automotive or aerospace.
At the same time, we have the EOS 290 metal 3D printer manufactured by German, which to be worked for development and testing for customer.
